Hall Green Liberal Democrats hope you can join us for a hearty curry to meet new people, connect with other Lib Dems and find our what's going on in the party in our area.
***Guest Speaker Karen Leach from Localise West Midlands will be talking about her work and that of the organisation. Localise West Midlands is a not-for-profit think-tank, campaign group and consultancy, which promotes localisation for social, environmental and economic benefit. Karen will have some highly thought-provoking and relevant things to say about local development, including some interesting comments on the Coalition's strategy, whilst her belief in effective change at a local level will strike a chord with people who have seen what has been achieved in Hall Green over the years.***
Come and meet some of the local party including:
- The many Liberal Democrat councillors who represent you in the City.
- Members of the Hall Green Constituency Committee who'll be keen to get you involved in campaigning in the Wards of Springfield, Hall Green, Moseley, Kings Heath and Sparkbrook.
- Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Hall Green Councillor Jerry Evans.
The evening will be relaxed and enjoyable - the ideal opportunity to get back in touch with the party, or meet people who are involved if you're new.
This event is also an important fund-raiser for the local party. Although there will be no expectation to donate anything beyond the ticket price, please think about whether you can afford to help strengthen the work that is carried out campaigning and improving life in the Wards. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Hall Green Liberal Democrats
The Birmingham Hall Green constituency has been modified to include the Hall Green, Moseley and Kings Heath, Sparkbrook, and Springfield wards.
Following the recession, the constituency unfortunately has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. Youth unemployment has surpassed 25% in some parts.
The Hall Green Liberal Democrats are working hard to raise aspirations and quality of life in the wards.
Long-serving Councillor and Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Jerry Evans, along with Councillors Tanveer Choudhry, Jackie Hawthorn, Paula Smith, Michael Wilkes, Emily Cox, Ernie Hendrix, Martin Mullaney and supported by many other Liberal Councillors in Birmingham City, are determined to improve life in Hall Green.
